I'm not Barbie but I shot her wedding.....

My daughter saw a Barbie Baby Photographer in Target while we were shopping for a birthday gift, so I was amused when I later saw her and her sister making up a game with their Barbies.

Barbie the wedding photographer!

They asked me to shoot their wedding... complete with a flower girl with real petals, to the formal shots and the exit in the Barbie Bug.

It's nice to see wedding photographers as a career for them to aspire too!

Baby makes three

We are so excited for our neighbors who are expecting their first baby !

Stephen is a musician with a great band called "The Austin Family Jewels" so we included some with his guitar.

You can also see the Family Jewels in the 2008 Still Naked calendar with an incredible photo by Matt Lankes to benefit the Austin Children of Musicians, Artists and Writers Fund.

Violin's Birthday

I recently photographed Jessica Mathaes and the Austin Symphony Quartet for their websites.
This year is Jessica's violin's 200th birthday! If you'd like to help her celebrate with a cake & a song, the birthday party is @ the University of Texas
Saturday Dec 8, at 8 p.m. in Jessen Auditorium.
The event is for kids and is FREE.

You can also see Jessica perform with the Austin Symphony
October 19 & 20 @ 8:00 p.m. at Riverbend Centre.
And the Austin Symphony Quartet perform Schubert, Mozart, & Chavez,
Sunday, December 2, 3:00 PM at Riverbend Chapel.

Rocking wedding

This cute couple was married at Le San Michele in Buda Texas on a beautiful September night amongst a backdrop of cosmos in bloom.

They looked like they knew how to rock so I used the Dandy Warhols song "I Love You" for my Second slide show.....(if it's too much you can turn off the volume!)
