Both Kendra & Sam are musicians- they're also expecting their first born! They had a lovely daytime ceremony at Mayfield Park , they were thrilled to have Sam's Sister & Mum come all the way from Australia. Kendra's voice students sang one of Sam's songs for the opening of the ceremony- they also had lots of musician friends to help them celebrate and perform an open jam session during their reception.
One friend made a piano groom's cake as a special surprise. Of Course -the theme was peacock theme since it was Mayfield Park- the peacocks were a gift in 1935 to the original residents and the house was deeded to the City of Austin- in lieu of keeping the peacocks on as permanent residents! The wedding cake had a fondant peacock, peahen and an egg on top.
Afterwards we headed to Butler Park for Sam to serenade Kendra with the "Play Me I'm Yours" art project.
Cheers to Kendra & Sam for their mutual love of music and their new baby!
