Stephanie & Brett found each other through online profiles with their user names being linked to their favorite songs.
HERS: was Yoshimi from the song Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots by the Flaming Lips
HIS: was DoveWrestler from the Shins song Gone for Good.
Stephanie said "On one of their first date they met at a local beer pub, and unknowingly purchasing the same beer out of 50 different beer taps! Then going to see some live music by a band called Theater Fire. At the end of the date, he presented me with a CD I had been wanting from our local record store. It was The Reminder by Feist."

Their relationship blossomed from there and involved lots of beer tastings, live concerts, an engagement, and finally a wedding up next.
(For their wedding cocktail hour playlist they compiled a list of songs that they had seen perform live together- it was over 3 hours and had to edit it down to an hour !)
