This gorgeous couple didn't let the rain get them down on their wedding day last weekend at Thurman's Mansion in Driftwood Texas.

In the Hindu tradition rain on the wedding day is lucky as it it is believed to forbear a strong marriage. The logic behind this belief is that a wet knot is harder to untie. (Plus it rains a lot in India).

I think the rain adds an element of romance, like that great movie "Singing in the Rain". You can't help but keep a smile on your face singing it.

I photographed Austin's Angels a few weeks ago. They are a string trio made up of Rebecca Browne, Jessica Mathaes and Jou-An Hou. Jou-An is also a cellist with the UT Symphony Orchestra and is working on her Phd. at UT. See their new website above!
