the Most Important things- Food & Photography
Monday, March 29, 2010
I loved that Melanie said that food and photography were the most important things for her wedding!
We took the time before the ceremony to shoot portraits of the bride and groom and family at their favorite downtown Austin locations.
Kim Sessions performed the beautiful ceremony at their favorite restaurant La Traviata on Congress Avenue, then friends and family enjoyed a private romantic dinner for the reception!
The couple picked 7 of their favorite courses off of their regular menu - plus special appetizers made just for them. They had 5 different types of wine- 2 white, 3 red and of course -2 sparkling wines!
Not only did their guests get to enjoy wedding cake from Moonshine, but the restaurant had special Italian desserts as well.
This truly is the perfect place for a delicious intimate wedding!
Cheers to FOOD & PHOTOGRAPHY!

Jen & James /Wedding Red Corral Ranch
Thursday, March 18, 2010
It's SXSW, the weather is awesome and it's spring break so it's hard to stay inside and work- but I'm trying to catch up from our short break and trip to Dallas.
Jen and James had great red details at for their wedding at the Red Corral Ranch- the brides red anemone bouquet ( and boutenierres), the bride and flower girls shoes, all to match her gorgeous red hair and the big red barn.
(I'm having fun experimenting with with slow and double exposures with my holga!)
Gotta go outside- will have to work at night once the sun is down.
