Katy grew up on a ranch and her  Mom said that when ever Katy thought of her wedding day she knew that she wanted to wear cowboy boots and be married under a live oak and she had both!

Their inspiration  was  for decorating were their snapshots of their camping adventures together. She admitted she was not much of a camper until she met Phil but has come to love it. They gave a dvd's of their trips, had snapshots  framed on the tables and a wedding crossword puzzle to see how well you knew them.

During their vows Katy mis-spoke  a little- instead of saying she couldn' wait to have  children together she accidently said she was carrying his children! - the perfect icebreaker for an emotionally beautiful ceremon!

Since  Katy's a kindergarten teacher, she asked one of her  favorite former students to be one of her flower girls  and had a special  appearance of Flat Stanley during the reception!
