The rain didn't dampen the fun a this wedding at Barr Mansion. The new pavilion was the perfect spot for their ceremony and our photo booth
Jacey & Barrett met online but have been cosmically connect their whole lives!
The Bride said "When we met and fell in love, we discovered that, since childhood, we had never been too far apart-- in our 20s, we even lived on the same street! So, we planned a cosmic/celestial wedding, based on the idea that we had been orbiting each other all our lives. For the decor, we chose succulents, air plants, geodes, and crystals in glass terrariums. The idea was that each terrarium was its own little universe. Our DJ played Vitamin String Quartet versions of David Bowie's "Life on Mars?" and the Beatles' "Across the Universe" before the ceremony began. We chose not to have a wedding party, but we did have two little attendants: the son and daughter of our close friends, who had come all the way from Argentina. The little girl, Olivia, wanted to carry the rings, so we made her Ring Princess. Her brother, Alfonso, was the StarMan: he sprinkled paper stars and moons down the aisle. We gave astronaut ice cream as favors, and our escort cards were attached to colorful stones, hand-wrapped in copper wire by the bride."
The bride's friend also made the perfect golden moon for their photo booth and Spacecraft played only 1980's music all night- the couples fav!
Cheers to destiny and the moon and the stars!
