This cute artist couple were married at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden. The flowers & table decorations by Wild Poppy were unique sculptures in themselves, the groom used wood found on their ranch as centerpieces and the flowers were artistically arranged on them. They even used blooming artichokes for the wedding stage decorations! The bride also created these cool terrariums for the tables. And a friend painted her red cowboy boots with sparrows!
They danced to ZZ top by The Texas T's and exited to their chauffered drive home as their guest blew cute bird noisemakers!
Congratulations Allison & Gabe!

Elegant Costume Wedding
Friday, November 14, 2008
Curt & Amy had the most awesome wedding at Green Pastures on Halloween! The bride's mother made her dress and everyone else dressed up in costumes!
We thought it'd be fun to have a "photo booth" as a way to document all the cool costumes- a BIG Thanks to Jeff for shooting all the great shots!
They also had the big band Nash Hernandez Orchestra for dancing, incredible food and trick or treating for all the kids ( they had candy jars on all the tables and all the kids walking around to "trick or treat").
To top it off they left in a horse drawn carriage!
Congratulations Amy & Curt!

Friends are family!

This couple had the coolest wedding out at Chapel Dulcinea with a brunch reception at the Tuscan Hall. Their first ceremony was a private Native American one, but this ceremony was definitely a "family" affair. Her daughter gave her away and her grandchildren were flower girls and a ring bearer.
But their friends were family when they all rose to the occasion by making her beautiful pink gown & handmade shrug, performing the ceremony, singing at the ceremony & reception and decorating the reception hall.
The music was by the band Will Taylor with Strings Attached.
(the last song was Leonard Cohen, so I used this John Cale version for the slideshow ).
Congratulations Peggy & Jeff!
