Kurt & Abby's Valentines Wedding at Barr Mansion!

Cupid strikes

This adorable couple met while studying abroad in Berlin.
Abby was the MOST sweet and fun to work with and I loved every detail about their wedding.

First- they got married the day before Valentines at the Barr Mansion!

Their program was designed to look like a vintage valentine card-

The brides and all her close friends helped her get ready by singing showtunes from their high school musicals they'd been in. She also went to school with her friend Madeline Myers who's new company Posey did the most beautiful and romantic arrangements.( she's also a great photographer!)

At their reception they had valentines pinned to a line for guests to find their names and directed them to their dinning table.

The food and cakes are always awesome at Barr Mansion but the pink Victorian Valentines cake was my favorite-perfectly fitting for the occasion.

There was fun & funky dancing with heart shaped glasses as well as a special appearance by an "old family friend".

They even arranged for cupid to come to dressed with arch and bow!

Her exit costume was a vintage Berlin dress complete with a cloche hat and 1940's heels to match for their honeymoon trip to Berlin, Austria and Vienna.

Congratulations Abby & Kurt!

Hi Katherine! The gown was based on a Melissa Sweet Mila design, but was custom designed for the bride by Coutures by Laura in Austin Texas. Glad you like it!
