Gillian's Mom has a antique jewelry business so she borrowed a beautiful 1920's jade and gold necklace, coral and jade with diamonds earrings - and a gold and diamond bucket bracelet from around 1900.
The Signature Cocktails made up by the Groom before hand- ( he actually smoked bourbon with an aquarium pump and made the bitters himself. He also infused the vodka with orange and basil. Pink Avocado served them as well as a colorful menu.
The hand painted animal silhouettes were used instead of table numbers- the couple choose their favorite animals and painted them and printed the escort cards to match.
Their LOVE of pickles had them come up with the idea of making a batch of pickles - all the vegetables were donated from Rain Lily Farms from their good friend works there. The secret ingredient? Clove!
Gillian's engagement and David's wedding ring were made by Steve Kriechbaum - who's a jewelry designer here in town. Her delicate wedding ring is from St. Kilda - a jewelry store in Brooklyn she found online.
Cheers to Gillian and David and new things to come!
