Francesca & Jacob's inspiration for their wedding was a fairy woodland in the forest. The decor was inspired by the nature of the Texas Hill Country. They took advantage of the beautiful landscape at the Wildflower Barn and used a small meadow in between trees for their ceremony site. Instead of flowers, Francesca asked her florist, Antonio Bond to create pieces with driftwood, succulents, mosses and wild mushrooms as center pieces. They only choose their sweet little dog Jupiter as their wedding party attendant (Best dog) and Jacob's Mom handmade a bow tie collar it to match Jacob’s tie.
Since they love to travel and their trips together are a special part of our relationship Francesca choose to have their guests sign vintage postcards and instead of table numbers they chose place cards with the places that we had travelled together. They also commissioned an artist friend to make the arbor installation for the ceremony.
Texas is always hot so they provided paper fans, sunscreen and bug spray for the guests in antique perfume bottles on a silver tray. ( F & J spent their honeymoon in Iceland)!
The couple made lawn games for guests who didn’t enjoy dancing- a giant jenga game and a sandwich board signs with bean bags.
Francesca said that crossed arrows are a symbol for friendship, so they used it throughout their wedding on all their paper goods and signage - it's also a tattoo the couple both have.
