Haley & Ahmed's Backyard Wedding

Wednesday, September 21, 2011

This sweet bride grew up in Texas, went off to London to study, found her true love and came back home to be married!   Their backyard wedding was filled with tons of DIY projects her Mom put together! She made all the wooden signs, a custom bridge for crossing a over to the reception. A white tent filled with floral fabrics flags, recovered chairs, old books, milk glass vases filled with  beautiful coral and yellow flowers..... Her Mom even made the sweet peach polkadot tie for the groom!  Haley found her dress via J. Crew but accessorized it  with a velvet ribbon tied in back with a cameo pin. Their presents for each other were equally cute- for Haley a lace Anthroplogie fan and turquoise bracelets- and for him a Kenneth Cole watch! The ceremony was super touching when her little brother sang a song just for her. The reception was filled with dancing, our photobooth, an outdoor lounging area and late night root beer floats!

Cheers to Haley, Ahmed and Crafty Mothers!
