Nicole & Tim/Seaholm Power Plant Portrait

Monday, June 14, 2010

Nicole and Tim are a fun couple to work with-we lucky to be able to shoot outside the Seaholm Power Plant- an Austin architectural gem. Though it isn't currently open to the public- it is open for private events. In the future it will be part of a mixed - use redevelopment with condos and shops.
I loved all the rust old metal and stark lighting!
Then we were lucky to find that  they were able to ride their bikes on the South 1st street bridge (since it was closed for a festival.)
It was serendipitous that we found the cute little red vintage BMW car in the parking lot and sweet that the owner was nice enough to let us borrow for a couple of shots : )
We finished on South Congress and under the Live Oak at the Hotel Cecelia where he proposed!
